Battery SE3 Overview

Fire or explosion hazard: When lithium-ion batteries are damaged or mishandled (mechanical damage or overcharging), their internal flammable liquid electrolyte can leak, catch fire and spark at temperatures above 302 °F (150 °C). Such items may burn rapidly with flash ignition. It may ignite other batteries in the immediate vicinity.
Health Hazard: The electrolyte from the battery can irritate the skin, eyeglasses, and mucous membrane tissue. Combustion may produce irritating, corrosive, or toxic gases. Fumes may cause dizziness or asphyxiation.

Skin contact: If you come into contact with the substance inside the battery, remove contaminated clothing and footwear and immediately rinse with running water for more than 20 minutes. If irritation persists, consult a physician.
Eye contact: In case of contact with substances in the battery, immediately lift eyelids and flush with running water for 20 minutes or more. If irritation persists, consult a physician.
Ingestion: If you accidentally ingest the contents of the battery, do not induce vomiting. Consult a physician.

Appropriate extinguishing agents: water curtain and ordinary foam extinguishing agents are available to extinguish fires.
Specific hazards from chemicals:Combustion may produce irritating, corrosive or toxic gases. Smoke may cause dizziness or asphyxiation.
Special protective behavior for firefighters:Firefighters should wear self-contained positive pressure breathing apparatus and pass firefighting protective clothing to prevent skin and eye contact. Extinguish fires upwind. Evacuate unrelated personnel to a safe area.
