  1. 🪒Shaving Razors
According to TSA regulations, certain types of shaving razors are allowed on the plane, while others are prohibited.
Disposable razors, cartridge razors, and electric razors can be placed in your carry-on or checked baggage. If you have a safety razor or a straight razor, you can bring it in your carry-on, but the blades must be removed and placed in checked baggage.

  1. 🔋Batteries
TSA allows the use of alkaline batteries (such as AA, AAA, C, and D), rechargeable batteries, lithium-ion batteries, consumer-grade lithium-ion batteries, and lithium metal batteries—all of these can power your devices like cell phones, digital cameras, camcorders, laptops, and other small personal electronics. You can also carry up to two larger lithium-ion batteries; for batteries between 101 and 160 watt-hours, prior approval from the airline is required.
Lithium batteries, portable chargers, external battery chargers, and power banks should not be checked and must be carried in your carry-on. TSA recommends keeping batteries in your carry-on in case of fire and for the crew's potential use.
On the other hand, car batteries, wet batteries, and spillable batteries are completely prohibited from being brought on the plane. However, if you need one of these battery types for a scooter or wheelchair, they can be brought on board but only as checked baggage and must be declared to the airline. For more information on batteries, contact the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

  1. 🧼Cosmetics
Solid and powder cosmetics have no restrictions and can be packed in either your carry-on or checked baggage without limitations.
If you want to bring liquid, lotion, gel, cream, or paste cosmetics in your carry-on, these items must be stored in containers of 3.4 ounces or smaller, and all containers must fit into a single quart-sized zippered bag.
Any cosmetics not placed in the liquids bag must undergo inspection.

  1. 🫧Shampoo and Deodorant
The rules for carrying shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and deodorant are the same as those for liquid cosmetics. Shampoo and conditioner—as well as roll-on, aerosol, and gel deodorants—can only be carried in travel-sized containers and must fit into a one-quart-size zippered bag to comply with security requirements.
If any containers are larger than 3.4 ounces, they need to be placed in checked baggage.
However, note that if you prefer using solid or powder deodorants, you can pack them in your carry-on without placing them in the liquids bag.
